by on Mar.24, 2011, under Auto

MGB timing for Point systems

by on Feb.01, 2011, under Auto

John Twist at University Motors has been providing helpful video’s for those of us who own MG’s. While he did stop for a time, he is back at it with a new shop. I liked this tip for static timing a MG motor.

Hope you find it useful too. John has many other videos to watch and I will post the ones that I find useful to me.

69 MGB

by on Jan.04, 2011, under Auto

I recently purchased a 69 MGB basket case for $700. The majority of the car is there, and I was very pleased with the amount of new parts that the previous owner had purchased for the car (close to $1000). Since I already own a 68 MGB that has some front end damage (I am not equipped to do frame work), I will be merging the two cars together to get one running car. After that the other chassis may become a toy racer or a project to finish later. I will post some updates as progress is made.
